Comwell Aspenäs a perfect setting for your conference
- only 20 minutes from Gothenburg or Landvetter airport
Comwell Aspenäs is situated in surroundings of great natural beauty only 20 min away from Gothenburg or from Landvetter airport. The manor house, with history dating back to the 1500-hundreds, lies by the lake Aspen and the grand terrace offers a place for pleasant recovery. Here there is the possibility of
challenging and relaxing activities. In our various conference houses we have spaces for both big and small groups.
During centuries there have been some rather successful (and some not so successful) owners of Aspenäs. At the end of 1800-hundreds took the wholesaler Arthur Edward Seaton over the manor and some successful years followed. He created a magnificent manor with an English park and gardens filled with beautiful animals, where extravagant parties were held with invited celebrities.
An active manor
The surroundings at Aspenäs invites both promenades and jogging. You can also borrow a bicycle if you wish. Take shoes with you and don’t forget your swimwear for a nice bathe in the lake Aspen or in our relax area (saunas are available in all our conference houses). For those who would like there is also the possibility of training in our fitness centre, free to all our guests.
Gothenburg – only 20 minutes away
Sweden’s second city is an activity city to be counted. There is a large range of entertainments with a broad program of musicals, theatres and shows. Popular sights are for example – the amusement park Liseberg (the largest in the Nordic counties), Universeum and the East Indiaman “Götheborg”, a 18th century ship, that recently returned from a voyage to China and back. For those who are interested in shopping, Gothenburg is perfect. Boutiques, galleries and department stores are all situated within walking distance of the city centre.
