Thalasso = sea

Varbergs Kurort is Sweden's only Thalasso spa, which means that we use real sea water. It is water straight from Kattegat you will be enjoying – both when you swim in our 32-degree pool and when you have your treatment in our beautiful hot tub. The seaweed for your Thalasso bath we harvest from Kattegat.

Twenty metres to the sea, two kilometres of sandy beach walks, splendid view, forest and gardens full of berries. Take the time to enjoy it all while you are here!

During the summer we offer outdoor massage and you can participate in yoga class right on the sea shore. During the autumn and winter the open fire warms everyone. Those who dare take a cold bath while others settle for a sauna in our beach pavilion.

Ingredients for our treatments and food are chosen, as often as we can, from nature. And preferably from local farmers.
You receive the whole of our proud spa tradition in conjunction with first class modern spa culture.

You are in the right place - you don´t become Europe´s best spa by chance. Let yourself be taken care of by our therapist - we promise that they know what they are doing. With us you will find an unusually large range of spa treatments and we´re happy to help you choose when you book. 

Relaxation and activities all week long

Here you find all possibilities! Beautiful yoga rooms, top of the range gym and fabulous nature/surroundings. You who stay with us can participate in all our activities and have a busy activity menu to choose from. There are activities seven days a week. Usually completely free and in som cases for a small fee, for example Sauna Exclusive and Core de Luxe.  

Food & Drink

In the resturant bright dining room, you will enjoy everything with all of your senses. The wine list is composed by our award-winning sommelier. 

The best spa in Europe

Comwell Varberg Spa was named in 2005 as Europe's Best Spa by a panel of experts in a contest held by the British magazine Professional Spa & Beauty. The jury highlighted, in particular, how the spa philosophy is present throughout the company, together with the exceptionally well-handled treatments that characterise "a genuine true spa."
