Terms and conditions for individual stays

For individual bookings of less than 10 rooms made directly with Comwell, the following conditions apply.

Payment terms

  • Online bookings of stays WITHOUT advance payment

    For bookings of stays without advance payment made on our website, the amount of 500 DKK is reserved on a payment card as a guarantee for your reservation. The reservation on the payment card is valid for 30 days from the time of booking. At check-in at the hotel, the price of the stay + DKK 500 per day in deposit must be guaranteed on a payment card. The reservation on the payment card is valid until settlement upon departure from the hotel. Release of the guarantee. If you wish to have a reserved amount released before the 30 days have passed, you must contact us at kontakt@comwell.com with your reservation number, so we can help release the money from your bank.

  • Online bookings of stays WITH advance payment

    For bookings of stays with the advance payment made on our website, the price of the stay is charged to the payment card at the time of booking. This booking cannot be changed or cancelled. At check-in at the hotel, DKK 500 in deposit must be guaranteed on a payment card. The reservation is valid until settlement upon departure from the hotel.

  • Other bookings
    For bookings made by phone, email, or in person, the price of the stay + a deposit of DKK 500 per day is guaranteed on a payment card as a guarantee for your reservation upon arrival. The reservation is valid until settlement upon departure from the hotel.

  • Bookings in connection with with Christmas gift offers in the period 1 December until 24 December 2023
    Gift vouchers cannot be used as a means of payment for discounted products.

Change and cancellation policy

  • Cancellation of room with and without breakfast

    Bookings of rooms with and without breakfast can be cancelled free of charge until 4:00 pm local time on the day of arrival. If the room is cancelled after 4:00 pm local time, or if the guest doesn't show up, we will invoice for the first night.

  • Cancellation of pre-paid stays

    Booking of pre-paid stays, such as events, concerts, and special arrangements, are all pre-paid and cannot be changed, cancelled or refunded after booking. Payment is charged to the payment card at the time of booking. On the website, it is always indicated whether stays, events, concerts and special arrangements are pre-paid.

  • Cancellation of stays with dinner and/or spa treatments

    Stays with dinner and/or spa treatments can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. If cancelled between 6 and 2 days before arrival, 50% of the stay's price will be charged. If cancelled less than 2 days before arrival, the full price of the stay will be charged.

  • How to change and cancel

    Bookings made directly with Comwell can be changed and cancelled by either calling the relevant hotel or Comwell Central Reservations. Please note that there may be price increases between the date of your booking and the time of change or cancellation. Reservations cannot be moved from one hotel to another. Please note that some offers cannot be cancelled, refunded, or changed. Reservations made via third-party agents such as booking.com, Expedia, hotels.com, etc. must be changed by the third-party agent where the reservation was made.

  • Bookings with Christmas gift offers in the period 1 December until 24 December 2023
    The booking cannot be cancelled, but can be rebooked at an additional cost to a new arrival date within the period 4 January to 28 April 2024.

Cancellation Insurance - only applies to stays including dinner and/or spa treatments

When purchasing cancellation insurance, you can cancel your reservation for a stay with dinner and/or spa treatments without any costs until the arrival day at 4 PM local time, without any reason or documentation required. It costs kr. 75,- per adult. Children under 12 years old are free. The details are as follows:

  • Who does the cancellation insurance cover?

    The insurance covers the number of persons stated on the confirmation, as well as children under 12 years old. The insured person(s) will be referred to as "the insured".

  • When does the cancellation insurance apply?

    Once the amount is paid, it applies from the date of purchase until arrival at the hotel.

  • When should the cancellation insurance be purchased?

    It should be purchased when booking the stay. It is not possible to purchase it afterward.

  • What expenses does the cancellation insurance cover?

    It covers the amount stated on the final confirmation. The cost of the cancellation insurance is non-refundable. In any case of cancellation, the insured must immediately - and no later than 4 PM local time on the day of arrival - notify the individual Comwell hotel. If cancellation occurs after the arrival time, the insurance does not cover it.

Terms: Booking for 9 rooms or more

If more than 9 rooms are booked for the same period, the hotel will consider this a group booking. This may result in a change in prices and general terms and conditions, including cancellation and payment terms.

The hotel will send a group contract to be signed by the customer in order to confirm the reservations.
