Questions and Answers about Comwell Bygholm Park

Check-in is from 3pm.

You must check-out no later than 10am on weekdays, and no later than 11am on weekends and public holidays.

Children under the age of 18 must always be accompanied by an adult. 

When you arrive at the hotel, you will be asked to fill in and sign a registration card and present a valid ID. This is in accordance with Danish law.

An extra bed costs DKK 200.

It is allowed to bring "quiet" and clean dogs in some rooms in the categories 'standard double' and 'small double'. Additional price DKK 250,- per day.

If your stay does not include dinner, you can cancel before 4pm on the day of arrival. If the room is cancelled after 4pm, you will be charged for the first night.

A prepaid “non-refundable stay” cannot be cancelled.

 A room with dinner included can be cancelled free of charge no later than 7 days before arrival. If you cancel between 6 and 2 days prior to arrival, you will be invoiced for 50% of the price of the stay. If you cancel less than 2 days prior to arrival, you will be invoiced for the full price of the stay. Bookings for nine or more people must be cancelled 30 days in advance.

We have a handicap-friendly room located on the ground floor. Please make sure to let us know that you would like this room when booking.

Comwell Bygholm Park accepts all popular credit cards. Please note that there is a surcharge on foreign credit cards.

Comwell reserves the right to pre-authorise your credit/debit card prior to arrival. Comwell.dk will not charge your credit card unless you book a “non-refundable stay”.

Your credit card is only used as a guarantee for your reservation.

If you use a debit card for your reservation, your bank will reserve the amount for 30 days. If you wish to have the funds released after your stay but before the 30 days have passed, you must contact the hotel directly with your reservation number, and the hotel will help you release the funds. Comwell can notify your bank to release the amount Via DIBS, but only your bank can cancel the reservation of the amount. We accept the following debit cards: Visa Electron, Maestro and MasterCard Direct.

Breakfast is served Monday–Friday from 6:30–9:30am.  Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 7:00–10:30am.

The restaurant is open Monday–Saturday from 12pm–3pm and again from 5pm-9pm. We recommend making a reservation, as it may be fully booked on the day. Please note that à la carte tables are subject to availability.

Dinner including accommodation is fixed and varies daily. Set menus cannot be moved to other days. We are happy to adapt the menu for those with specific dietary requirements, provided we have been informed in advance.

We offer room service during the kitchen's opening hours and for a fee. Remember, you can also always order food, drinks, and snacks directly from our bar or restaurant.

Our restaurant is closed on Sundays. Some exceptions apply, please contact the reception at (+45) 76 319 500 if you have any questions.

Always let us know in advance if you have any allergies – including food allergies.

Our reception is staffed 24/7 and is always ready to assist you with anything you may need.

The nearest station is Horsens Station, which can be reached on foot through the old manor park in just 10 minutes.

Book a taxi on tel. (+45) 75 50 30 00. The reception will gladly book taxis for guests.

Free parking is available in the parking area in the hotel courtyard, and 300 parking spaces are available in Bygholm Park.

Comwell Bygholm Park has four charging stations for electric cars. There is user payment for the electricity via the Clever app, and you must bring your own cables.

We offer free wireless internet throughout the hotel. To connect, select ‘Comwellhotels’ Wi-Fi. There is no code.

We have a gym with treadmills, bikes and a small selection of weights.

Smoking is not allowed in indoor areas or on terraces.

All stays require payment card entry, even if you have a gift card. Payment will not be charged when entering your card details. All stays are settled at the hotel - except for non-refundable stays, where the amount is deducted when booking. These stays are non-refundable or non-transferable. Please note that if you use a MasterCard Debit or VISA Debit as a guarantee, the amount will be reserved in your account and will only be released again after departure, and can last up to 30 days. 

If you have a gift card valid for any Comwell hotel, you can book your stay online and pay with your gift card when you check-out. We ask for credit card details when booking online only as a guarantee of arrival.

Gift cards cannot be used to pay for prepaid non-refundable stays.

Gift cards from Gavefabrikken must always be ordered via the link that comes with the gift card and cannot be used as payment unless the stay is specifically booked this way.

All our hotels have the Danish Organic Cuisine Bronze Label, which means that 30-60% of all our food and beverage purchases are organic. We believe that the Organic Cuisine Label will improve the quality and taste experience that our kitchens provide our guests.

We take active measures to prevent food waste. We, therefore, make sure that our food waste is recycled as biogas and second-generation biodiesel.

All Comwell hotels are Green Key certified, which means that an extra effort is made to protect the environment. We are Denmark's most sustainable hotel chain, and we use local ingredients to the extent possible instead of importing foreign ingredients.

You automatically earn 5% of the total amount of your final bill for any overnight stay. All points earned can be used as payment for your next overnight stay, with the exception of stays involving conferences and meetings.
