Concept

At Comwell Køge Strand, modern Nordic cuisine meets an atmosphere characterised by tranquillity, stunning views and a sense of togetherness. In our elegant restaurant overlooking Køge Bay and green surroundings, we create a holistic experience where food, setting and atmosphere come together in perfect harmony – and during the summer months, the experience can be enjoyed on our large outdoor terrace.

The kitchen takes its inspiration from seasonal produce, with a focus on flavour, aesthetics and balance. The menu offers a varied selection of both classic and creative dishes, as well as vegetarian options.

We are committed to reducing food waste, and in our kitchen, flavour and consideration go hand in hand – always with respect for quality and professional standards. We hold the Bronze Organic Dining Label, which means that 30–60% of all the food and drink we purchase is organic.

Flamed trout with sauce vin blanc, dab emulsion, butter beans and ponzu with lemon

Leg of quail confit with butter steamed broccolini, fermented pepper and fried bread

Add on: fjord shrimps with sorrel


Main Courses

Gently cooked Ocean perch with new red onions, oil of blackcurrant sprig, crumble from “Gammelknas” cheese and sauce nage

Breast of guinea fowl and chicken sauce with terragon, butter blanched new carrots and pea shoots

Green asparagus with smoked sour cream sauce, crisp wheat kernels and gooseberries (vegetarian)


Cheese and dessert

3 kinds of Danish cheese with balsamic vinegar, cracker and compote

Mazarin cake with buttermilk ice cream, green forest sorrel and lime sirup with vanilla

Rhubarb and white chocolate panna cotta with licorice and rose juice
