Would you like to extend your stay with early check-in (13:00) or later check-out (13:00)? Then you can choose this as an option when you book online for a fee of DKK 200,-.

Further extension of your stay until 18:00 (DKK 200,- per hour) must be agreed upon with reception and is solely at the hotel's discretion.

Children under the age of 18 must always be accompanied/stay with an adult in connection with a stay.

Regardless of when you want to pay for your stay, authorization will be made to your card, for the price of your stay and an additional DKK 500 per night, as a guarantee for your stay. If you are paying by gift voucher or cash, the authorized amount will be released to your account when you check out. We recommend that you inform the receptionist if your say has been reserved with a debit card, as the reserved amount is not actually withdrawn. It is only blocked by the bank.

When you arrive at the hotel you will be asked to complete a registration card, sign it and present valid identification if requested. We are required to do this by Danish law.

A maximum of one extra bed can be made up in each room. Extra beds must always be booked in advance. Children (3-11 years) cost DKK 200 per night. Babies (0-2 years) sleeping in the same bed as their parents stay free of charge. Cots (0-3 years) cost DKK 150 per night. An extra bed costs DKK 300 per night. If there are several of you travelling together we can offer rooms with connecting doors to allow free access between the rooms.

It is possible to upgrade from a reserved category to another one for an additional fee upon arrival.

"Quiet" and house-trained dogs are allowed in your room, as long as you inform the hotel prior to your stay. There is a surcharge of DKK 250 per night. Dogs are only permitted in our standard rooms.

If your stay does not include dinner, you can cancel at no charge at any time up to 4pm on your arrival date. If you cancel your room after 4pm you will be invoiced for the first night. 

Prepaid ”non-refundable stays” are not cancellable. 

Rooms with dinner included can be cancelled free of charge no later than 7 days before you are due to arrive. Cancellations between 2 and 6 days before you were due to arrive will be charged 50% of the price of the stay. If you cancel less than 2 days before your due arrival date, you will be charged the full price of the stay. Stays involving groups of nine or more must be cancelled 30 days in advance.

With elevators to all floors and ten specially designed handicap-friendly rooms, our hotel is accessible for people with mobility impairments and wheelchair users.

Comwell Copenhagen Portside accepts all popular credit cards. Please note there is a fee on foreign credit cards. 

Comwell reserves the right to have your credit/debit card pre-authorized in advance of your arrival. Comwell.com will not debit funds from your credit card unless you have booked a non-refundable stay.

Your credit card serves as the guarantee for your booking. 

When booking with a debit card, your bank will reserve the amount for 30 days. Should you wish the amount to be made available after your stay and the 30 days period has not yet elapsed, please contact the hotel directly stating your booking number. The hotel will help you to make the funds available once more. Comwell can inform your bank to release the funds via DIBS payment services. Only your bank is able to cancel the reserved amount, however. Debit cards are Visa Electron, Maestro or MasterCard Direct.

Our breakfast buffet is served between 6.30 AM and 10.00 AM Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday from 7.00 am-11.00 am.

Always give us advance notice if you suffer from any allergies. This also applies to food.

If dinner is included in your stay, you must book a time for dining upon arrival. Children under 12 are offered half-priced portions.

The restaurant is open à la carte Monday to Saturday from 11:30 AM to 12 AM (kitchen closes at 10 PM).

Sunday is closed (We're referring to our bar menu to order something to eat and drink)

To ensure that all of our guests have a good experience, it is important to book a table in our restaurant for breakfast and dinner. This can be done on our website under the "Restaurant and party" menu or at the reception upon arrival.

The bar/café is open Monday-Thursday from 7 AM until midnight, Friday and Saturday from 7 AM-1 AM, and Sunday from 7 AM-11 PM.

Our cosy bar has a large selection of beers and cocktails on tap.

We serve a wide variety of bar and café dishes from our menu. The kitchen is open from 11:30 AM-10 PM. Sunday until 9.00 PM)

In addition to the menu, we also offer a selection of snacks, salads, and sandwiches, as well as sweet, healthy, and salty options throughout the bar's opening hours - both for eating on-site and "to go".

Room service is available during the kitchen's opening hours and for a fee, but it may be unavailable at certain times due to busy periods. Alternatively, you can order food, drinks, and snacks directly at the bar or restaurant.

Parking under the hotel costs from DKK 30 per hour to a maximum of DKK 195 per day (from 1 January 2024), excluding fees. Tickets can be purchased through an app, vending machine or at the reception.

If you buy a ticket at the reception, only daily tickets for the parking facility under the hotel are sold. The car's registration number must be provided at the reception upon arrival, and the first 30 minutes are free with the use of a parking disc.

Comwell does not refund any remaining parking time if the parking garage is full.

If the parking garage is full, we refer to the parking facility at Orientkaj, which is located approximately 100 meters from the hotel entrance.

If you leave the parking garage, a parking spot cannot be guaranteed upon your return, as it is a publicly accessible parking facility.

The hotel is not responsible for any control fees and refers to the applicable parking regulations on the signs in the parking facility.

Comwell Copenhagen Portside has 12 spaces for electric cars. When using the charging station, electricity consumption must be paid for directly with Clever, and cables must be brought along.

We offer free wireless internet access for all our guests. Connect by selecting the  "comwellhotels" Wi-Fi and log in using the password "comwellhotels". 

Our Cardio is located on the 1st floor, which all guests have access to around the clock. There are both weights as well as a selection of cardio machines.

Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited. This also applies to E-cigarettes. Any violations of this will result in a fine of DKK 2500,-

Laundry and dry cleaning handed in before 8:30am will be returned to your room by 6pm the same day. Please contact the reception desk if you have any questions.

All bookings require that you enter payment card details, even if you have a gift voucher. We do not take your payment when you enter your card details. All stays are paid for at the hotel, with the exception of non-refundable stays for which payment is made when booking. Stays of this type cannot be refunded or transferred to other dates.

Please note that when using MasterCardDebit or VISA Debit as your payment guarantee, the amount will be reserved on your account and will not be released until after your departure. This can take up to 30 days.

If you have a gift voucher redeemable at all Comwell hotels, you can book your stay online and use the gift voucher to pay for your stay when you check out. Credit cards are used for online booking as a guarantee that the guest will arrive. 

Gift vouchers cannot be used to pay for pre-paid non-refundable stays. 

Gift vouchers from Gavefabrikken must always be ordered using the link that you received with the gift voucher. They may not be used as payment unless the stay was specifically ordered using the link.

All our hotels have the Danish Organic Cuisine Bronze Label, which means that 30-60% of all our food and beverage purchases are organic. We believe that the Organic Cuisine Label will improve the quality and taste experience that our kitchens provide our guests.

We take active measures to prevent food waste. We, therefore, make sure that our food waste is recycled as biogas and second-generation biodiesel.

All Comwell hotels are Green Key certified, which means that an extra effort is made to protect the environment. We are Denmark's most sustainable hotel chain, and we use local ingredients to the extent possible instead of importing foreign ingredients.

You automatically earn 5% of the total amount of your final bill for any overnight stay. All points earned can be used as payment for your next overnight stay, with the exception of stays involving conferences and meetings.
