Questions and Answers about Comwell Kellers Park

Check-in is from 3pm. If you have booked a SpaDelight stay, check-in is from 2pm.

Check-out must be done no later than 10 am Monday to Saturday, Sunday 10:30 am. To avoid queues during check-out, we recommend settling the bill before breakfast. The key card can then be quickly returned at departure.

Children under the age of 18 must always be accompanied/stay with an adult during their stay.

Regardless of how you wish to pay for your stay, authorization will be made to your card, for the price of your stay plus an additional DKK 500 per night, as a guarantee for your stay. The remaining authorized amount will be released after check-out.

It is recommended to inform the receptionist if the stay is reserved with a debit card, as the amount is not charged, but only blocked by the bank.

When you arrive at the hotel you will be asked to complete a registration card, sign it and present valid identification if requested. We are required to do this by Danish law.

It’s possible to have 1 extra bed set up in each room including breakfast for DKK 500. You must always inform in advance. Children (3-11 years) pay half the price of adults. Babies (0-2 years) sleeping in the same bed as their parents stay free of charge. Cots (0-3 years) cost DKK 250 per night.

All of our lovely standard rooms are located in the wing near the restaurant, which is on the opposite side of the AquaSpa.

We recommend upgrading to a room near our AquaSpa if you do not wish to walk through the hotel from your room to the spa area in a bathrobe, although it is acceptable to walk through the hotel in a bathrobe.

Standard Plus room: + DKK 200 per night upgrade - located near the spa area - there are 2 types of layouts. One room type has the bathroom separated into a shower and toilet, while the other type is more traditionally designed. Both are located close to the spa area.

Attic room: + DKK 400 per night upgrade - New York style with sloping ceiling walls.

View room: + DKK 400 per night upgrade - beautiful view of the forest and park (Rooms are located on both sides of the main building).

Junior Suite: + DKK 600 per night upgrade - with a sofa arrangement, large bathroom with a bathtub. (Rooms are located on both sides of the main building).

Attic Suite: + DKK 900 per night upgrade - Two-room suite with a living room, bedroom, and bathtub in the bathroom.

We offer a range of spa treatments from massages to facials, which always need to be booked in advance and usually at least 2-3 weeks before arrival. There may be sold out on the day. See the treatments and book online here. The minimum age is 16 years.

Dogs are unfortunately not welcome at Comwell Kellers Park.

If you have booked a stay with breakfast, it is possible to purchase access to Aquaspa for 395 DKK per person per day. It is possible to dine in our bar without a table reservation. If you wish to dine in the restaurant, a table reservation must be made in advance.

If your stay does not include dinner, the stay can be cancelled free of charge before 4pm on the day of arrival. If the room is cancelled after 4pm, we will charge for the first night.

A prepaid "non-refundable stay" cannot be cancelled.

Rooms with dinner can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. If cancelled between 6 and 2 days before arrival, 50% of the stay's price will be charged. If cancelled less than 2 days before arrival, the full amount of the stay will be charged. Stays with nine or more people must be cancelled 30 days before.

We have lovely handicap-friendly rooms located in our spa wing. Please contact us in advance if you wish to book one of these rooms.

Comwell Kellers Park accepts all popular credit cards. Please note that there is a fee for foreign credit cards.

Comwell reserves the right to pre-approve your credit/debit card prior to your arrival. Comwell.com will not charge your credit card unless you book a "non-refundable stay".

Your credit card is only used as a guarantee for your reservation.

If you use a debit card for your booking, your bank will reserve the amount for 30 days. If you wish to have the funds released before the 30 days are up, please contact Comwell Central Reservation by email at booking@comwell.com or by phone at (+45) 70 274 274 with your reservation number, and the hotel will assist you in releasing the funds. Comwell can notify your bank via DIBS to release the amount, but only your bank can remove the reservation of the amount. Debit cards include Visa Electron, Maestro, or MasterCard Direct.

Breakfast buffet is included in all stays and is served Monday-Saturday from 7am-10am and Sunday from 7:30am-10:30am.

If you wish to have breakfast as room service, there is an additional charge of DKK 95,-. If you would like, for example, an omelette or a glass of sparkling wine, you can add it when ordering room service at the reception.

Always give us advance notice if you suffer from any allergies. This also applies to food.

Our reception is staffed 24/7 and always ready to assist you with anything you need.

If dinner is included in your stay, a table will be assigned upon arrival between 18:00 and 20:30 on a first-come, first-served basis. The dress code in our restaurant is as follows; neither swimwear, bathrobes, nor slippers are allowed.

We recommend that our guests pre-book a table before arrival unless dinner is included in the stay. Would you like a specific time? Then please write to us at: hotel.kellerspark@comwell.com with your reservation number, and we will try to accommodate your request.

Here you can buy drinks, coffee, and the option for light meals during the day from 12:30 pm-9:30 pm. It is also recommended in the evening for those who want delicious light food with the option for specialty beers and cocktails.

Our bar is open every day from 12:30 pm-11:00 pm.

We offer room service until 9:30pm. There is a fee of DKK 95 for room service.

Not all GPS devices will find the easiest route to us. If your GPS cannot find our address, please try using: Borgergade 14, 7080 Børkop, and then turn right.

From Fyn: Take exit 60a Fredericia V from E20, turn right onto 171 towards Vejle for about 12 km, then turn right onto Overmøllevej towards Brejning.

From Aarhus: Take exit 61a Vejle C from E45, and turn left towards Fredericia. At the intersection with Fakta's headquarters and McDonald's, turn left and continue to Gauerslund church at the end of the road. Turn left towards Brejning.

From Vejle Station to the hotel, it costs about DKK 290 (ask for a fixed price)

From Brejning Station to the hotel, it costs about DKK 120 (ask for a fixed price)

From Fredericia Station, it costs about DKK 370.

The nearest station is Brejning Station (2.5 km walking distance), followed by Børkop Station (4 km), Fredericia (from East Fyn/Copenhagen) and Vejle (from North Aarhus/Aalborg). Schedules can be found on sydtrafik.dk.

Parking is free and takes place in the courtyard in front of the rooms.

We have four Clever charging stations. To start the charging process, you need your Clever subscription/chip. If you do not have an agreement with Clever, you can still download their app and pay to activate the charging through it. Bring your own cables.

We offer free wireless internet throughout the hotel. To connect, select 'comwellhotels' as the Wi-Fi network and then log in with the code 'comwellhotels'.

Our fitness facilities are open from 7am to 11pm for all guests staying overnight.

• Get information about walking and running routes from the hotel, from 3 km to 7 km. Download the RUNGO app and you will be guided through the routes of 3-5-7-10-14 km.

• The area is full of history, so take the historical route around the hotel for about 60 minutes.

• Participate in our spa activities on Friday-Saturday-Sunday.

• Kellers Minde Museum is open on Tuesdays from 10:00-12:00 and Saturdays from 14:00-16:00. Price per person is DKK 30.

• Brejning marina with restaurant/cafe is 0.5 km away.

• The waffle and pancake house is 4 km away (only open in the summer).

• Hvidbjerg beach- and holiday area is 7 km away.

The receptionists are always happy to assist with any questions.

You are welcome to try. You will receive a gift certificate for a free overnight stay if you reach the top in under 12 seconds. Start with both feet on the ground, run up the 114 steps, and finish with both feet above the stairs. No requirements for how you do it, just reach the top within 12 seconds. We will time you when you are ready.

Brejning is located in the southern part of the East Route, which runs north from Frederikshavn to Sønderborg. There is a cycle path on a section of the route to Vejle and Fredericia.

All smoking, including e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited indoors. Smoking is only allowed at the designated ashtrays located outside the three main entrances.

If smoking occurs in the room, a fee of DKK 2,500 will be charged.

It is possible to have your laundry washed with us, you just need to contact the reception. Once the laundry is submitted, it will typically be ready for pick-up the next day.

The paintings in the hotel are by Frederik Kløve Jakobsen. Decorations are by Erik Buch.

All stays require the input of a payment card, even if you have a gift card. No payment is taken upon entering your card details. All stays are settled at the hotel - except for non-refundable stays, where the amount is charged upon booking. These stays cannot be refunded or moved.

Please note that if you use a MasterCard Debit or VISA Debit as a guarantee, the amount will be reserved on your account and will only be released after departure. It can take up to 30 days depending on which card issuer you use.

If you have a gift card valid for all Comwell hotels, you can book your stay online and settle the payment with the gift card at check-out. You will be asked for your credit card information during online booking, which is only a guarantee for arrival.

Gift cards cannot be used for payment of prepaid non-refundable stays.

Gift cards from Gavefabrikken must always be ordered via the link that comes with the gift card and cannot be used as payment unless the stay is specifically booked through it.

All our hotels have the Danish Organic Cuisine Bronze Label, which means that 30-60% of all our food and beverage purchases are organic. We believe that the Organic Cuisine Label will improve the quality and taste experience that our kitchens provide our guests.

We take active measures to prevent food waste. We, therefore, make sure that our food waste is recycled as biogas and second-generation biodiesel.

All Comwell hotels are Green Key certified, which means that an extra effort is made to protect the environment. We are Denmark's most sustainable hotel chain, and we use local ingredients to the extent possible instead of importing foreign ingredients.

You automatically earn 5% of the total amount of your final bill for any overnight stay. All points earned can be used as payment for your next overnight stay, with the exception of stays involving conferences and meetings.
