Comwell has been nominated three times at the Danish Beauty Awards 2026

"We offer our guests an extraordinary experience"

Comwell Kellers Park is once again in the running to be named Spa of the Year at the Danish Beauty Awards. Meanwhile, both Comwell Kellers Park and Comwell Borupgaard have been nominated in the category Beauty Treatment of the Year – holistic / wellbeing.

For the 20th time, the Danish Beauty Awards are to be presented at a major awards ceremony. Comwell has previously been nominated in various categories and has also won at the Danish Beauty Awards; most recently, Comwell Kellers Park won in the very category of Spa of the Year in 2024.

Now the spa hotel has once again been nominated in the prestigious Spa of the Year category, much to the delight of the hotel manager at Comwell Kellers Park, Maria Munkebo;

“We’re up against a strong field of other spa hotels, so just the fact that we’ve been nominated makes us incredibly proud and happy. Personal hospitality is essential to us, and the nomination is a huge tribute to our talented and dedicated staff, who provide our guests with an extraordinary experience when they visit our spa at Comwell Kellers Park."

The concept behind Comwell’s spa hotels is based on water, rest and wellbeing.

In addition to being nominated for Spa of the Year, Comwell Kellers Park has also been nominated in the Beauty Treatment of the Year – Holistic / Wellbeing category for the spa ritual ‘Rituals of the 5 Elements’.

“We are tapping into a current trend with our spa ritual ‘Rituals of the 5 Elements’. It is based on Nordic sauna traditions and ancient Eastern European banya traditions, gently combined with modern classic sauna rituals. We accompany and guide guests safely through all the spa’s facilities and have created a holistic journey founded on presence, care and tranquillity. The intention is to invite each guest into a space for reflection, contemplation and inner balance in a sensory and holistic experience,” explains Lise Grønning, Spa Manager at Comwell Kellers Park.

Comwell Borupgaard has also been nominated in the same category for ‘Journey of the Senses – a restorative aromatherapy retreat’.

“Journey of the Senses is a day of deep relaxation and self-care. Our guests can leave the stresses of everyday life behind and be guided on a journey towards calm, balance and restoration. It is a holistic day retreat that combines professional aromatherapy, sound, nature, warmth and water in a sensory spa experience,” says Malene Ripullone, Spa Manager at Comwell Borupgaard, adding:

"We are incredibly delighted with the nomination, as it is a huge recognition of our talented staff, who create these wonderful experiences for our guests. The nomination also highlights the great value of taking a day of deep tranquillity to let go of everyday stress and reset the nervous system, and our guests derive great pleasure from this."

Awards will be presented at a ceremony in April

In addition to Comwell Kellers Park, AIRE Ancient Baths, Hotel Vejlefjord Spa & Wellness, Kurhotel Skodsborg and Rox Resort have also been nominated in the ‘Spa of the Year 2026’ category.

And alongside Comwell Kellers Park and Comwell Borupgaard, Bako Care, Beauty by Munk and Nimb have been nominated in the Beauty Treatment of the Year – Holistic / Wellbeing category.

"It really means a lot to us to be noticed and recognised. We put our heart into every single guest, and this feels like a huge pat on the back. The nominations are largely down to our staff. Their passion, dedication and professional expertise are what make the difference. So we hope to bring these wonderful awards home to Comwell," says Maria Munkebo.

The Danish Beauty Awards will celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2026, and this year’s winners in the various categories will be announced at a grand awards show on 24 April 2026 at the Tivoli Congress Centre.
