Are you dreaming of a wedding close to the water? Here, you will have a romantic setting with the beach, green surroundings, and views across Køge Bay. The hotel is located just 300 metres from the beach, making it an ideal choice if you would like your ceremony or wedding photos to take place by the water on your big day.

There are plenty of possibilities when planning your wedding. You can hold the ceremony outdoors in one of the hotel’s green areas, gather your guests on the terrace, and then move indoors in the evening for a grand celebration in one of our bright function rooms. We can accommodate up to 400 guests and have extensive experience with weddings and other events.

The large, airy terraces are furnished with garden furniture from Fermob and classic Skagen furniture, which enhance the relaxed beach atmosphere and overall ambience. Here, you can let the indoors and outdoors blend together naturally and shape the day around the mood you want to create.

At the same time, the hotel is only 10 minutes from central Køge and the S-train, and there are excellent parking facilities at the hotel. This makes it easy for both you and your many guests to travel to and from the celebration.

The menu is put together during a planning meeting, where you and your wedding planner go through your wishes, taste preferences, and the available options. Several of the function rooms have views of Køge Bay and the surrounding meadowland, while the terraces create a natural connection between the celebration and the landscape outside. On the first floor, you will find a bright reception room with views of the water and the meadows, while the large hall on the ground floor has high ceilings, space for a dance floor, and direct access to the terrace. In addition, we offer a smaller room for more intimate gatherings. The venues can be adapted to the number of guests, so there is room for both family and friends.

As standard, we set up round tables seating 10 guests, while classic white tablecloths, napkins, and candles create a calm and elegant table setting. If you would like to add a personal touch to the celebration, you are very welcome to bring place cards, flowers, or other details that reflect your own style.

Whether you are planning an intimate dinner or a large celebration with up to 400 guests, we offer bright venues with large windows that can be adapted perfectly to your party. In the large hall on the ground floor, there are high ceilings, direct access to the terrace, and plenty of space for a large dance floor, while we generally set the tables beautifully with classic white tablecloths and candles at round tables seating 10 guests.

If you would like to treat your guests to the very best, our Wedding Package Deluxe costs DKK 1,998 per person and is available for a minimum of 50 covers. The package includes real champagne on arrival, a delicious four-course summer menu based on fresh seasonal ingredients, an upgraded wine menu ad libitum, as well as coffee with a fine avec, after which we open a full cocktail bar for four hours with savoury snacks and round off the night with your choice of late-night food or even a full hot dog stand.

From the moment you book your date, you will be assigned a dedicated event manager who will guide you safely through the entire schedule, the table layout, and all the small personal details. We invite you to a cosy planning meeting, where together we put together your wedding menu based on your taste preferences, and here you can also easily add extra starters, a late-night soup from DKK 88 per person, or let us take care of beautiful floral decorations at DKK 288 per table.

Yes, we have 127 lovely rooms, so your guests can celebrate freely without having to worry about getting home late at night, and they can instead stay overnight from DKK 798 for a single room. For a total supplement of DKK 2,500, we will arrange a screened-off and cosy section of the restaurant for your party the following morning, where we will move all your wedding gifts so that you can sit together in peace, enjoy a generous breakfast buffet, and share stories from an unforgettable night.

Terms and General Cancellation Conditions

Hosting a celebration means a great deal – financially as well. At Comwell, we give you complete peace of mind throughout the entire process, and you can already familiarise yourself with our terms and conditions so that you feel confident from start to finish. This includes, for example, questions about cancellation terms, payment, and the need to reduce the number of guests.

  • Cancellation of the event, as well as any changes to the number of participants, must always be made in writing.

  • A deposit of DKK 3,000 is payable at the time of booking.

  • The deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

  • The reservation is only finally confirmed once the deposit has been received.

  • The final number of guests, age distribution, menu, and any special requests must be provided no later than 12 days before the event.

  • The seating plan and place cards must be submitted no later than 2 days before the event.

General cancellation terms

  • Children up to and including 2 years of age attend free of charge.

  • Children aged 2 up to and including 12 receive a 50% discount on the package price.

  • A children’s menu can be chosen as an alternative to the menu included in the celebration package.
