Confirmation in North Zealand at Comwell Borupgaard

At Comwell Borupgaard in Snekkersten, the historic manor house meets modern function rooms, a cobbled courtyard and a park with mature trees. Here, you can gather the family in North Zealand to celebrate the confirmand and make the surroundings part of the occasion – from a welcome beneath the linden tree to a break in the park between courses.

We will help you find the right function room and put together a menu to suit your celebration. You can choose between a served dinner and an option with a main-course buffet, and agree on the details that make the celebration personal.

At Comwell Borupgaard, we make a number of items ourselves, including bread, sauces and ice cream desserts. Our celebration menus follow the seasons, and you can choose from several dishes or centre the meal around a main-course buffet with a served starter and dessert. This gives you the flexibility to choose both flavours and style of service to suit the celebration you have in mind.

What our kitchen has in common is Comwell’s food concept, where taste and seasonal ingredients are the starting point, and local ingredients are used whenever possible. Comwell Borupgaard holds the Bronze Organic Cuisine Label. This means that 30–60% of food and beverage purchases are organic. The percentage applies to purchasing overall, not to the individual celebration menu. Speak to us about the confirmand’s preferences, children’s menus and dietary requirements when choosing the dishes.

Comwell Borupgaard offers function rooms for both smaller family celebrations and larger confirmations. The different buildings allow you to choose between the historic character of the manor house and more modern surroundings.

The thatched Hasselbalchs Hus features whitewashed walls, small-paned windows and a terrace overlooking the park. It can accommodate up to 72 guests, depending on the table arrangement. For larger parties, the hotel offers other function rooms where the seating plan and space for entertainment can be adapted to the event. An additional room charge of DKK 10,000 applies to Hasselbalchs Hus.

We set the tables with white fabric tablecloths, white napkins and white candles. If you would prefer other colours, you are welcome to bring these yourselves.

It is easier to choose the right venue for your confirmation in North Zealand once you have seen it for yourself. Please let us know about any speeches, photos or entertainment you would like to include in the celebration. We are also happy to help put you in touch with musicians and other entertainment providers, while a projector and speaker can be added as optional extras.

Snekkersten Beach and Harbour are within walking distance of Comwell Borupgaard. This gives you the opportunity to gather the family for a walk by the water before the celebration or as a way to round off a lovely day in North Zealand.

If your guests are travelling from further afield, you can pass on a tip or visit nearby Helsingør together, where you could, for example, explore Kronborg Castle or the M/S Maritime Museum of Denmark.
