Wedding Venues on Zealand With Unique Character
Our wedding venues on Zealand vary considerably in both size and character. For the largest celebrations, Comwell Køge Strand, Comwell Copenhagen Portside and Comwell Borupgaard stand out.
At Comwell Borupgaard, you can also choose the thatched Hasselbalchs Hus, with whitewashed walls, small-paned windows and a terrace overlooking the park. It accommodates up to 72 guests, offering an intimate experience in historic surroundings.
Comwell Roskilde has four function rooms particularly suited to weddings. Three are around 300 m² and accommodate up to approximately 180 guests, while a smaller room is suitable for 30–50 guests. You can also make use of the terrace or atrium courtyard for your reception or as an outdoor area.
At Comwell Holte, there is space for up to 150 guests. Choose between bright, Nordic-style function rooms with access to terraces and the nature around Vaserne, or the historic Palævilla if you prefer a more private setting for your celebration.
Comwell Køge Strand stands out with a variety of function rooms close to Køge Bay, including a bright first-floor room overlooking the water and meadows, as well as a large hall with high ceilings, a dance floor and direct access to the terrace.
Comwell Copenhagen Portside is the urban alternative, with floor-to-ceiling windows, three green atrium courtyards and a 1,200 m² event space for large weddings.
Transport to and From Your Wedding Venue on Zealand
It's also worth considering how your guests will travel to and from the celebration. Copenhagen Portside stands out if public transport is important, particularly if your guests are travelling from the airport or staying in the city. Nordhavn can be reached by Metro, bus, S-train and harbour bus.

The nine-hour package includes four courses, upgraded wines, an after-dinner drink and sweet treats, a four-hour professional cocktail bar with six different drinks, and late-night supper. The higher price therefore reflects how much of the wedding evening is already included in the package.
